To be or not to be

There is no question

One must be

And can only be once

This is a singular occasion,

A life, as it has been labeled,

Will be spent poorly by many

And spent properly be few

We only have this one chance to

Make a difference

Make ourselves heard

A single change to matter in this world

Whether in riches and prosperity

Or hardship and poverty

We are all supplied

With body and mind

With the means to matter

We have an ability

A responsibility

Not to merely be

But to live
